New Day

My dear friend Pat told me yesterday that things will seem better in the morning. It is so hard to believe this in the dark of the night. Worry, lack of sleep only compound the problem. But morning comes and you chose to face the day. You chose to head out to yard sales and enjoy the thrill of the hunt even if you come up empty. You chose to keep a commitment to volunteer at the library booth at the town expo and you delight in the wonderful weather and reaching out to people, something you love to do best. You chose to step forward. We so often take for granted this simple action but take it from someone who understands what it means becoming immobilized and you realize that each step is not to be taken lightly and each step forward, no matter how hard, is a victory.
